Attorney Barry Klopfer

Barry Klopfer earned his B.A. degree in anthropology from Antioch College in 1997, and his J.D. degree from City University of New York (CUNY) School of Law in 2003. While in law school, Mr. Klopfer clerked for the Hon. Bonnie Wittner, Supreme Court (New York County), participated in CUNY’s highly ranked Criminal Defenders clinic, and having received the Bruce Wright Fellowship for Police Brutality, Mr. Klopfer interned for Eliot Spitzer, then New York State Attorney General, in his administration’s Civil Rights Bureau.

For several years Mr. Klopfer worked as a New Mexico prosecutor and as a public defender. And afterwards Mr. Klopfer worked with the Navajo Nation Department of Justice, performing primarily labor and employment law.

In 2011 Mr. Klopfer started his law practice. Mr. Klopfer believed that in starting his own practice, he can be more effective in helping ordinary people deal with a variety of legal issues.
